Life at the Office

No need for an alarm with me around! I like to wake up the humans with a sloppy wet nose kiss bright and early. Bring on the coffee...

The humans headed to "work" in the dining room. Sitting across from one another with their laptops, it looks like they just play Battleship all day. I hung out on the deck to keep an eye on the neighbourhood. Barked at a few dogs just to keep things real.

Long walk in the glorious sunshine, followed by a visit from my arch-nemesis/friend Maya and her humans. Charlie is home!

We played with the princess castle - I had to be Cinderella, but handled it maturely - then (finally!) dinner time. Charlie is quite slobby with her food, I discovered this later whilst casually checking under the table after they were done. (Who knew I loved tofu?!)

While Charlie bubble-bathed I chased sticks in the yard with Matthew. Then we put Charlie to bed and watched the terrifying season finale of The Walking Dead.
Humans are super creepy

Sunday, Sunday

A great start to my vacay, a long morning walk followed by coffee and a newspaper. Not much happening locally, but I did manage to help poor Kristina with her crossword.

Matthew and I burned the last of the Christmas tree, while we played a rowdy game of fetch. Saw a few rabbits, but didn't give chase - the easter bunny could be watching, and I've got my canine heart set on Kinder eggs this year.

The humans left to do what they do best on Sundays - shop Canadian Tire - while I tanned in the sunlight and chewed my rawhide.

Then we set off on our long walk. They noticed how much less I seemed to be limping since my last visit. Guess that's why they kept walking - it was at least 10 miles, I am sure of it.

The little one was not here tonight so we got crazy with tacos and The Hunger Games!
I am totally a Team Gale girl myself
