And here we are, my last vacation day in Collingwood! We spent some quality family time before Charlie left for school working on a floor puzzle. I did most of it.

Oh Hi Spring There You Are
8 degrees! Sunny! We cleaned the deck, then played outside. They are waiting on patio furniture - something about throwing shingles off the roof soon - so there was lots of room to play!
The girls left for the city so I had a chance to reeeelax...zzzzzzz. Then it was off to the water's edge to build an ice castle. I got a little close to the river and the piece of ice I was standing on broke off. Luckily I am lighting fast and got off that puppy before it hit the water. Close call! Charlie was pretty impressed I think :)

Seriously Spring Where Are You
Early morning hugs from Charlie! Warm and fuzzy. But then outside was icy...brrrrr.
I spent some time outside, fetching sticks with Matthew, chillin' on the deck, and walking with the kiddos.
The adults went to some kind of dinner, so Manny and Emma took care of me. I'll never tell, but there may have been nail polish and pizza involved!

Friday I'm In Love
These lyrics suit my mood today!
Extra special Friday - the babysitter was ill, so Charlie got to spend the day with us at the office! I was super excited...
The afternoon turned wet and soggy but we soldiered through a walk. At dinner time, Manny and her friend Emma arrived from the city. More hugs and love for me!

Fun at the Dentist
Had to wake Charlie early for a very special appointment (and boy did I have to go pee!) I wasn't allowed in the office, but Kristina snapped a photo for me. Thinking that popcorn the night before wasn't the best idea...
Super fun day at Chalet Smoss: did some walking, fetched some sticks, got a few ad campaigns wrapped up, finished building a website. Phew!
Matthew took my portrait also:

Hump Day
Wednesday, for all you retired people out there. Here I am exploring the frozen shores of Lake Huron...sniff sniff.

| Matt's got some fierce competition! |
Back at home for breakfast, I waited patiently by the loo for Matt Kristina to finish beautifying, then got Charlie in her gear to go to school.
| So proud of her! |
Had a rousing stick toss-throw adventure in the melting snow, followed by a long afternoon walk, dinner, and a bubble bath (Charlie, not me). Then a special treat!

April Fool's
Sunshine! Rain! Wind! Did I mention sunshine! Spring has sprung in Collingwood. We celebrated over eggs for breakfast, took Charlie to school, and walked to the water. Then those crazy cats dragged me out on their lunchtime walk, then Charlie wanted to watch me fetch sticks after school. I am pooped!
So we relaxed in the play kitchen...
Then Charlie sat with me and sang songs while I gnawed a yummy rawhide. Kind of relieved she didn't make me play princesses again!
We went for another walk to the lake, on the way back I met a friendly pup....
then I fell asleep reading bedtime stories...yawn!

Life at the Office
No need for an alarm with me around! I like to wake up the humans with a sloppy wet nose kiss bright and early. Bring on the coffee...
The humans headed to "work" in the dining room. Sitting across from one another with their laptops, it looks like they just play Battleship all day. I hung out on the deck to keep an eye on the neighbourhood. Barked at a few dogs just to keep things real.
Long walk in the glorious sunshine, followed by a visit from my arch-nemesis/friend Maya and her humans. Charlie is home!
We played with the princess castle - I had to be Cinderella, but handled it maturely - then (finally!) dinner time. Charlie is quite slobby with her food, I discovered this later whilst casually checking under the table after they were done. (Who knew I loved tofu?!)
While Charlie bubble-bathed I chased sticks in the yard with Matthew. Then we put Charlie to bed and watched the terrifying season finale of The Walking Dead.

Sunday, Sunday
A great start to my vacay, a long morning walk followed by coffee and a newspaper. Not much happening locally, but I did manage to help poor Kristina with her crossword.
Matthew and I burned the last of the Christmas tree, while we played a rowdy game of fetch. Saw a few rabbits, but didn't give chase - the easter bunny could be watching, and I've got my canine heart set on Kinder eggs this year.

Then we set off on our long walk. They noticed how much less I seemed to be limping since my last visit. Guess that's why they kept walking - it was at least 10 miles, I am sure of it.

The humans left to do what they do best on Sundays - shop Canadian Tire - while I tanned in the sunlight and chewed my rawhide.

The little one was not here tonight so we got crazy with tacos and The Hunger Games!

Saturday Night Lights
I arrived! In Collingwood after dark, a happy homecoming with a nice walk down lovely Georgian Manor Drive then some light wrestling.
Cuddled up with Matthew and Kristina and watched the shenanigans unfold on some Netflix show.
