Day 18

The humans are careful not to spoil me, but they do give me treats here and there. I love to hang out in the kitchen when they're cooking; they can't resist my hazel eyes (and loud sighing). Some of favourites are above. (Kristina could totally be a famous food blogger and/or photograph for cookbooks, non?)

I never beg at the table at mealtimes, but that cute kid drops soooo much food I help out the family by cleaning the floor afterwards. Par example? Rice Krispies. Delicious! See how I fake disinterest in the background?

Today in summary: walk, poop, eat, sleep, harass small neighbourhood dogs (named Ruby, no less), wrestle, walk, poop, harass, eat, wrestle, walk, poop....and then, I must admit, I have become fond of bedtime stories. I curl up in Charlie's room under guise of "protective watchdog" then enjoy a plethora of Dr. Seuss classics...ahh heaven.

Oh, and also today Charlie told me I am "going home soon", and that she will "miss me, but not that much," and that she will visit when she goes "swimming." She pointed a finger at me the whole time then hugged my butt so I'm not really sure what this all means.

Day 17

Today was all about...wrestling! Kristina left early for the big smoke, so it was just Matthew and I to get Charlie ready for school, walk, walk, walk, and wrestle. I had tons of energy but it was raining, so mostly we wrestled inside; when Kristina got home she marveled at all my gorgeous fur decorating the floors!
After dinner, I took Charlie and Matthew to the lake for a starry stroll. Then we did more wrestling!
After wrestling, I just love my belly rubs...
(These iPhones really take great indoor photos. Check out my eyes!)

Day 16

Warm outside, but I hobbled quite a bit today, and had trouble with the stairs. (Kristina does the same after some wine though, maybe she has also injured her cruciate ligament?)

A quiet Tuesday, I helped Matthew plant a tree...
...and I wrestled with my squirrel-bear-chew-thingy...
...and I got lots of love - of course I know they can't resist this face!
Charlie and I watched something called Bubble Guppies, I just loved it.
